Bugaia

You May Want To Know

  • How long does a Bugaia candle typically last?

Bugaia’s classic 290-gram candle burns for approximately 55-60 hours.

  • My candle is burning unevenly. Is this normal?

Let it burn for 2-3 hours until the entire top layer of wax melts into a liquid pool at first burn. Trim the wick to 3-5 mm before each use with a wick trimmer or nail clippers. If the wick shifts during burning, gently reposition it to the center while the wax is still liquid.

  • How do I clean soot stains from the candle jar?

Soak a soft cotton cloth in warm soapy water, wring it out, and gently wipe the stains. Dry the jar immediately with a clean cloth to avoid water marks. Clean only when the candle is completely cool and unlit, and ensure the jar is thoroughly air-dried before reuse.

  •  Why is the scent faint during the first burn?

This is normal. Over time, fragrance oils in the wax’s surface layer evaporate, so the initial burn releases a subtler scent. For stronger fragrance: Allow the liquid wax pool to reach the jar’s edges during each burn. The scent will intensify as the candle is used more and the wax pool deepens.
